A ton of air? How do you figure that when a ton is 2000 lb.

You could just build a phase adaptor. We used to have a neighbor in a residential area that had a garage full of three-phase machinist equipment and used a phase adapter to run all his machenery. It may have been modified 3 phase. He used a small electric motor to do it.

Hey there, trying to do this on a 350f. Let the MMO soak in the cylinders for a week and a half then popped the side cover off. It's a bit of a disaster in there with rust and corrosion. When to rotate that bolt clockwise. Got it to turn once and some MMO came out the spark plugs holes. Went to rotate some more and now it seems like the bolt wants to turn but not the shaft. Thoughts?

ANOTHER REASON: Similar symptom, but different cause. The circlip popped off the needle in my Honda FCR carb. So the needle was simply sitting in the fully down position even if I twisted my throttle. It would still idle, but that was all. When I engaged the choke, it brought the "idle" speed up a few hundred RPM (as is normal when you engage the choke). This allowed me enough power to limp out of the bush back to my vehicle. Thankfully it was mostly downhill.

Hi Matt , please help me... Honda cd70, new air filter, first 3km run well. after 3km, stop at traffic lights, the engine idling and shutdown by itself, or sometime run in slow speed the engine shutdown by itself too. Is it the fuel mixture setting not good? Or idling rpm too low？

Thanks for sharing. I'm trying to remove this cover on a 2018 kx250f. The cover is loose on the right side near the water pump, but on the left side near the kick shaft seal it feels stuck. Would you have any advice on removing it? Just got it! The upper left alignment pin was seized.

Use 40:1 More oil means more maintenance. Use 40:1 even in break in. I’ve tested this over and over Ive been running 2 stroke engines for 15 years.. the manual is bogus. Thank me later

Omg! Dude turn the drill to low speed at least. Way way to fast and you gotta open it up more and more often to keep good grit in t the cut. And secondly reverse direction after 5 seconds or so.

the article was in cycle world magazine and was done by gordon jennings in the 70s who was regarded as the god of 2 stroke power. in his book "two stroke tuners handbook" he explains that lubrication of the cylinder walls reduced friction thus more power and stated that a change of jetting would clean up the speed of burn ergo more power again once this book became available in australia you could find it in nearly every competitors library but they would never tell anyone where they got it. after a lot of reading welll reading it over and over and over the mist of fog dissipated and the bikes i were tuning suddenly became killers in the hp power kingdom. his book is really valuable a world of knowledge but alas the greeny wankers and the doomsday people have almost killed off 2 strokes , but it was the power of 2 strokes that chewed up moto gp tyres and killer dirt bikes like cr 450 hondas 500 yamahas and 500 kawasakis all made brutal hp and torque to the point that few competitors could handle these machines and so 4 strokes came back in almost double the capacity of 2 strokes to equal the same hp i still have 2 suzuki 250s and they make considerable torque for the work i put into them and are slightly less powerful than todays bikes but at 75 i just like to blip the throttle and effortlessly climb over the log on my way up the mountain

When i was a kit i had a 2 cycle 50cc scooter and sometimes i would run out of gas while im on the way to a friend's house and i would say screw it and just run straight gas in it. I still have the motor right now and it runs just fine. I dont recommend doing this for a dirtbike engine or a built racing engine. Also i never bought 2 cycle mix i just used new fresh normal car oil. 😂

This Harbor Freight Compression Test Kit is garbage!!! The video is 100% correct and does a great job of explaining why the gauge readings are incorrect. I used it on a 4 stroke 2 cylinder motorcycle engine that I just completely rebuilt with all new parts - pistons, rings, bearings and valve job etc etc. The compression test with the harbor Freight Test Kit was was 115 lbs. which was way low for a newly rebuilt engine. I was bummed! I used it on another newly rebuilt motorcycle engine and it was also low. After the second test I started to figure something else was wrong. I found several items on the web describing low compression readings with the Harbor Freight Gauge. I purchased a new gauge made in America by a well known company. Surprise Surprise! My reading on the engine was not 115 lbs but 175 lbs! Thank you for spreading the word!

Great video and assist! I trying it with the carb on the bike now. I took the seat/tank off and the top motor mount brackets. Am hoping there is clearance to pull the needle out without removing the whole carb! Thanks!!

why didn't you put head o rings? they interfere with the squish measurement
